E-BIKES
Find the right GPS tracker for e-bikes at Entopizo, with installation, live tracking platform and subscription included.
A GPS tracker for e-bikes gives owners and shops a way to locate a bike the moment it moves without permission. This category is built for private e-bike owners, bike rental fleets, and shops that want to offer tracking as part of the sale. The devices listed here range from compact trackers for tight frame spaces to models with extra accuracy for dense urban routes.
All units work with our own platform and our own SIM cards on a subscription, so the tracker is ready to report location as soon as it is installed and activated.

Why e-bikes need tracking
E-bikes are a common theft target because of their resale value and the ease of moving them. A locked wheel or frame lock slows a thief down, but it does not help once the bike is gone. An e-bike GPS locator lets the owner see the current position from a phone and share it with police if needed. For rental or shared-bike operators, tracking also helps recover units left outside service zones or reported as lost.
How to choose a tracker for an e-bike
Space inside an e-bike frame or under the seat is limited, so size and mounting matter as much as features. Some models in this category, like the Teltonika FTC305, are built with small vehicles such as e-scooters and e-bikes in mind. Others, like the FTC921 and FTC927, focus on higher positioning accuracy, which is useful in cities with tall buildings where GPS signal can be weak.
- Power: battery-only models suit bikes without easy access to the electrical system; wired models can tap into the e-bike battery for continuous power.
- Mounting: look for a tracker small enough to fit inside the frame tube or under a panel, away from sight.
- Accuracy: dead reckoning, available on the FTC927, keeps position updates going briefly even when GPS signal drops, such as inside a building entrance.
- Connectivity: 4G models like the FTC305, FTC921, and FTC927 generally offer faster and more reliable reporting than 2G units such as the TFT100 or TST100.
Installation and the subscription
Installation on an e-bike usually means fitting the tracker inside the frame or under a component cover, connecting it to power where applicable, and testing the signal before closing everything up. We can install the tracker or guide an installer through the process.
The subscription covers the SIM card that sends location data, access to our tracking platform and mobile apps, and movement and geofence alerts. A GPS tracker for e-bikes bought without a subscription will still hold a SIM slot or memory, but it has no active connection unless you supply and manage your own SIM and data plan, and you lose access to our platform, alerts, and support. Our subscription means the tracker is live and monitored from day one, without you having to manage carrier contracts separately.
Typical use cases
An owner who commutes daily wants to know the bike is where it was parked, and to get an alert if it is moved during work hours. A bike shop selling premium e-bikes can offer tracking as an add-on for customers concerned about theft. A small rental operator can check the location of each bike in the fleet from one screen, instead of relying on customers to report where they left it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I install an e-bike GPS tracker myself?
Yes, smaller models can be fitted by the owner inside the frame or under a seat, though we also offer installation if you prefer it done by us.
Does the tracker work without a subscription?
The hardware needs an active SIM connection to send location data. Without our subscription you would need to source and manage your own SIM and data plan, and you would not have access to our platform or alerts.
Will the tracker drain the e-bike battery?
Wired models draw a small amount of power from the e-bike battery, similar to other onboard electronics; battery-powered models run independently and need their own charging or replacement cycle.
Can the tracker survive rain and daily use?
The trackers are designed for installation inside the frame or under covers, which protects them from direct weather exposure during normal riding.
