ADD-ONS
Shop GPS tracker add-ons including relays and immobilizing modules that extend what your Teltonika tracker can control.
GPS tracker add-ons are modules that let a tracker do more than report position, most commonly by controlling a circuit in the vehicle. This category is for fleet managers who need remote immobilization, installers wiring a security or anti-theft function, and vehicle owners who want their tracker to act, not just report.

Why vehicles need control add-ons
Live tracking tells you where a vehicle is. An add-on like a relay lets the tracker, and by extension the Entopizo platform, interrupt or restore a circuit such as the ignition or starter line. This is the basis of remote immobilization: stopping a vehicle from starting after theft, or cutting it off if a driver violates a geofence or schedule. Fleet operators also use relays to control auxiliary circuits tied to the tracker's logic, such as locking a compartment or triggering an external device.
Choosing the right relay
The add-ons in this category differ mainly in voltage, current rating, and wiring style. The IM1002 Magnetic Relay Bistable comes in 12VDC and 24VDC 100A versions with a 2-pin connection, suited to vehicles with matching electrical systems and circuits drawing within that current range. The IM601 12V 60A Bistable Latching Relay uses a 3-pin wiring layout for installations needing a different control configuration. The Teltonika Relay with Wires for Immobilizing is supplied pre-wired specifically for immobilization tasks, which simplifies installation where that is the only function needed. Choosing between them depends on the vehicle's voltage, the current draw of the circuit being switched, and whether bistable (latching) behavior is required so the relay holds its state without continuous power.
Installation and how it connects to the subscription
Add-ons like relays are wired by an installer alongside the tracker, typically into the ignition or starter circuit, and configured to respond to commands sent from the Entopizo platform or triggered automatically by rules such as geofencing. This remote control function depends entirely on the tracker having an active connection: our own SIM card and subscription carry the command from the platform or app to the device in the vehicle. A tracker without a subscription may still log position locally, but it cannot receive remote immobilization commands, since there is no live channel for them to travel through. The subscription is what makes an add-on like this functional rather than just installed.
Real use cases
- A fleet manager immobilizes a company van remotely after it is reported missing, using a relay wired to the starter circuit.
- An installer fits a bistable relay to a personal vehicle so the owner can cut ignition from the mobile app if the car is used without permission.
- A logistics company configures a relay to activate when a vehicle leaves an authorized geofenced area, as an added layer beyond alerts alone.
Frequently asked questions
What is a bistable relay and why does it matter
A bistable (latching) relay holds its last state, open or closed, without needing continuous power to stay there. This is relevant for immobilization, since the relay can keep a circuit cut even if power to it is interrupted.
Can any Teltonika tracker control these relays
Relay support depends on the tracker model and its outputs. Confirm with an installer or check your tracker's specifications before ordering a relay to make sure the wiring and control signal are compatible.
Do I need a subscription for remote immobilization to work
Yes. Sending a remote command to a relay requires a live data connection between the platform and the tracker, which is provided through our SIM card and subscription.
What is the difference between the 12V and 24V relay versions
They match different vehicle electrical systems. Passenger cars typically use 12V systems, while trucks and some commercial vehicles use 24V, so the relay must match the vehicle's voltage.
